High Desert Artifacts is required to furnish our clients with a certificate indicating and representing that any Indian artifacts sold were legally obtained and are not of cultural patrimony interest. High Desert Artifacts is assured by legal representation that we are in compliance with not only Oregon laws but federal ARPA: Archaeological Resources Protection Act that the items we are selling and the way we are selling them are legal.

Artifacts we have acquired were acquired before Oct. 15, 1983 and they were obtained according to the provisions of,

ORS: 198.005, 192.501 to 192.505, 273.990, 358.955, and 390.235. All Items are not of human remains, or funerary objects, or sacred objects, or and objects of cultural patrimony.
